  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • 6 cups cubed red potatoes (about 6 medium size potatoes)

3. Coarsely chop the potatoes, place them in a large bowl and add half of the onions and garlic mixture along with 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper and all of the sazon seasoning; toss to combine well. Add the rest of the spices, mixing well with the potatoes.

4. Wipe out the skillet with a paper towel then return it to medium-high heat with some vegetable oil (just enough to coat the bottom). When hot add half of the potato mixture; using a spatula press down on it so that it’s flat like a pancake in an even layer over the entire surface of your skillet (it should be about 1/2-inch thick).
